Introduction
As businesses across Africa scale, managing complex operations across multiple business units becomes increasingly challenging.
To address this, Digiits developed a Full-Circle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software Suite a modular, cloud-based platform designed to unify operations, finance, logistics, HR, inventory, and customer engagement under one ecosystem.
The system was deployed and tailored for Tacotel (logistics & port operations), Marshal Gas & Oil (energy distribution), Groital Company Ltd. (agribusiness & FMCG), Ibistek Group (infrastructure & construction), and Ndako Group (real estate and investment). Each implementation was customized to reflect the organization’s unique workflows while leveraging one shared ERP foundation.
Problem Statement / Challenges
Each client operated in a highly dynamic industry with disconnected systems, manual reporting processes, and limited data visibility across business functions.
Common challenges included:
Lack of integration between departments (finance, operations, inventory, and HR).
Delayed reporting and poor real-time decision-making.
Reliance on spreadsheets and isolated third-party tools.
Complex workflows that lacked automation.
Inconsistent customer and supplier data across subsidiaries.
The goal was to build a unified, intelligent ERP solution that provides complete operational visibility, automates repetitive processes, and supports multi-entity scalability, all from a single, cloud-native platform.
Design process
Digiits began with an intensive discovery and process mapping phase for each organization. We worked closely with department heads and business analysts from Tacotel, Ibistek, Groital, Marshal Gas & Oil, and Ndako to understand their end-to-end operational flows.
Using business process re-engineering (BPR) frameworks, our team:
Identified redundancies and opportunities for automation.
Created data models to unify financial and operational records.
Designed dashboards to visualize KPIs specific to each industry.
Developed user prototypes and ran feedback loops with department leads before build-out.
This design-first approach ensured that the ERP was not just powerful but intuitive, adaptive, and deeply aligned with each company’s daily operations.

The Full-Circle ERP System was architected as a modular, extensible, and cloud-native platform that could be adapted across industries while maintaining a shared data core.

Finance & Accounting: Automated general ledger, payables, receivables, and real-time financial reporting.
Procurement & Inventory: Centralized purchasing workflows, supplier management, inventory tracking, and reorder automation.
Operations & Logistics: Live cargo and shipment tracking (for Tacotel & Ibistek), vehicle and asset management (for Marshal Gas & Oil).
Human Resources & Payroll: Staff onboarding, payroll automation, attendance tracking, and performance management.
Projects & Asset Management: Resource allocation, project budgeting, and milestone tracking across infrastructure and agribusiness projects.
Analytics & Dashboards: Unified KPI dashboards powered by AI for predictive business insights and performance tracking.

Marshal Gas & Oil: Fuel distribution, depot reconciliation, and retail outlet tracking.
Groital: Farm-to-market supply chain monitoring and FMCG sales performance.
