Introduction
A digital health companion designed for Africans, Zoner makes it easy to connect with doctors, order prescriptions, schedule lab tests, and access reliable health information — all from one intuitive mobile app.
Problem Statement / Challenges
Access to quality healthcare in Ghana and across Africa is often limited by distance, long wait times, and unreliable information. Many people struggle to find trusted doctors, nearby hospitals, or authentic medication sources. Zoner set out to bridge this gap by creating a single mobile experience that connects users to medical professionals, pharmacies, labs, and reliable health education. The challenge was to design a platform that feels simple, trustworthy, and inclusive — one that works seamlessly for users with varying levels of digital familiarity.
Design process
Creating a smooth and trusted digital healthcare journey was at the core of the design process.
Conducted research to understand patient and doctor behaviors in Ghana’s healthcare space.
Defined core user journeys around finding doctors, booking appointments, and managing prescriptions.
Created wireframes and prototypes to simplify key actions and improve navigation.
